Early life
Demond Price, better known as Conway the Machine, was born in Buffalo, New York, on February 16, 1982. Westside Gunn, his father’s half-brother, is his only sibling. Benny The Butcher, his cousin, is a rapper as well. Conway had already spent time in prison, which inspired him to pursue a musical career. In 2012, he was involved in a fatal car accident. When Conway was shot in the back of the head and neck, his right half of the face became paralyzed.
