On December 31st, 1979Josh Hawley was born in Springdale, Arkansas. His father was a banker, while his mother was a teacher. In 1981, his father, Ronald, moved to Lexington to work for Boatmen’s Bancshares.
He attended Lexington Middle School before transferring to Rockhurst High School for his studies. Hawley received valedictorian honors from Rockhurst in 1998.
