Lee Jin-Hee, better known as Jeanette Lee, was born on July 9, 1971, in Brooklyn, New York. Lee is of Korean ancestry since her parents are Korean.
In 1989, Jeanette, at 18 years old, started playing pool. As she continued to play more games, her skills improved. She was awarded the finest female player in the world throughout the 1900s. During the World Nine-Ball Championships from 1993 to 1996, Jeanette finished third three times.
