Early Life
Pollack was born and raised in the New Jersey town of New Brunswick. He attended Shiloh High School and participated in a variety of sports, including football, basketball, and wrestling. He was named Defensive Lineman of the Year by Atlanta Touchdown Club during his senior year in high school.
Pollack chose to attend the University of Georgia after graduating from high school, where he began playing under Mark Richt in 2001. He spent four years with the Georgia Bulldogs, which helped him establish himself as one of the best young prospects in American football at the time.
