On the 2nd of June, 1941 Charlie Watts was born in Bloomsbury, London, England. Charles Richard Watts and Lillian Charlotte Watts, his parents, gave birth to him. Richard, his father, used to drive lorries for the London Midland & Scottish Railway, a British railway business. Linda, his sister, was his childhood companion.
Since his Wembley home was devastated by German bombing during World War II, Charlie had spent most of his childhood in a prefab with his family. Watts was formerly more interested in jazz albums and music. He co-founded a 78 RPM record label with his boyhood buddy Dave Green.
