Early life
In the United States, On July 18, 1965, in Boston, Massachusetts, Benzino was born Raymond Leon Scott. His parents are mostly unknown. Maureen and Anita-Scott-Wilson are two of his sisters. His sisters both went to medical school. In March of 2014, he lost his mother. He was shot in the shoulder and back at the funeral by his nephew, Gai Scott.

After seeing the film Wild Style, Benzino decided to pursue a career in rap music. He was a founder member of the Almighty RSO and Made Men, two rap groups. Benzino has collaborated on a number of albums in the past. In 1996, he collaborated with Wiseguys on “In Tha Company of Killaz,” a collaborative album. Since 2003, Benzino has been feuding with Eminem, a rapper. Since then, they’ve recorded a few diss tunes, including “Pull Your Skirt Up” and “Die Another Day,” which are both directed at each other.

His relationships with Karlie Redd in the first season and Althea Heart in the third season were successful in capturing the attention of viewers. He was also engaged to Althea Heart, but the relationship did not work out. Following their breakup, his ex-girlfriend/fiancee Althea filed a restraining order against him, as well as a paternity action.
