Early Life
On July 25, 1995, Alvin Kamara was born to a Liberian mother in Norcross, Georgia. He played football for the Norcross Blue Devils at Norcross High School. He ran for 1,300 yards and 17 touchdowns during his junior season. Alvin had 2,264 yards and 26 touchdowns on the ground as a senior. He was selected Georgia Mr. Football and Class 6A Player of the Year after a great high school career, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Kamara chose to play college football at the University of Alabama, where he was ranked as the No. 6 player in Georgia by Rivals.com.
