Early Life
Ace Hood was reared by his single mother in a humble Florida home. Hood attended Deerfield Beach High School and has had a passion for football since he was a kid. He wanted to alter his life by becoming a professional football player.
His life plan, however, was destroyed while he was in the tenth grade due to a serious accident. Hood opted to concentrate more on rap, which was also one of his primary hobbies, due to the severity of his injuries, and the fact that he would not be able to continue his football career. Hood then joined the Dollaz & Dealz group, which provided him with early experience in the business.

He has said in interviews that he believes in God and is a fervent Christian on many occasions.
